Elements of Style CARD

I made this card last night while I was in the middle of creating a vintage scrapbook page.  It is pretty clean and simple.  I used Sahara Sand, Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla Cardstock.  Soft Suede and Pretty in Pink ink.  Pretty in Pink satin ribbon, Jewels Basic Pearl, Mini Vintage Tags, Tiny Tags and Elements of Style stamp sets.  I distressed the edges of all cardstock and then sponged using Soft Suede ink.  I added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds to the dove, but due to my poor photography skills, it is difficult to see.

Purse Inspired Notecard

Today I was inspired by a purse and wallet my daughter received for her birthday.  I knew the Rockabilly DSP (retired) has the black/polka dot paper to match the bag.  I used Melon Mambo for the scallop circle and the Jumbo Outline Alphabet for the "C" and color it in with the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write marker.  I also used the Note of Thanks stamp set that was an Under $10 deal from the Spring'Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog.

Bridal Shower Card

I've been in a wedding kind of mood lately.  I am doing a workshop for a soon-to-be bride and I'm also having a wedding card class next week, hence the bridal cards.  I got the idea for this card over at Julie Marshall's here.  Although I love Julie's card with the "pretty in pink" cardstock, I changed mine to "bashful blue" because of the sentiment I used from the "Blissful Bride" stamp set.  All products used are Stampin' Up! (Vintage Wheel, Vintage Vogue stamp set, rhinestone brads, dazzling diamonds, flowers from the Pretties Kit Whisper White, Bashful Blue and Basic Black cardstock, bashful blue and whisper white tafetta ribbon)

WEDDING CARD

Yesterday while traveling to an event with my aunt she asked me to make her a bridal shower card.  I decided that it would be safe to go with black and whiteand this is what I came up with.  I used the Specialty Paper "Bride" along with organza ribbon, pearls from the "Pretties Kit" and the "Blissful Bride" stamp set.  I punched out the "For the bride" with the "Jewelry Tag" punch.  The die cut is non-SU.  Although the picture is a little off in shading (still working on my photography issues), the dress and the edges of the oval have "dazzling diamonds" applied to them.  We'll be creating this card in my wedding card class next week on July 29th.

My neighbor recently gave birth to twins (a boy and a girl).  I wanted to make a card so I did what I always do, surf the blogs of some very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators for ideas.  When I came across Robin Merriman's card here I decided that I would  CASE (copy and share everything) it and make individual cards for the twins. They were so easy to make and look terrific.  It was created using the "Fox & Friends" stamp set and the "Sweet Pea" DSP (designer series paper).
